Information for Volunteers – Vaccination Clinic

Important information for your session as a Vaccination Clinic volunteer

This information is for your safety, convenience and comfort while you volunteer at a vaccination clinic session.

Before you volunteer for a session

During your volunteer session, you may be asked to carry out a role inside or outside or both.

You will be asked to wear a mask and / or visor during you session.

If there is a reason that you cannot do one of these, then please contact the Volunteer Centre to discuss further, see our contact details at the foot of this page.

You will be provided with a link in your confirmation email which will allow you to cancel your session at the clinic. You can use this link at any time. You will be advised by the response from this system what to do if you cancel with less than 24 hours of your session.

Before you leave for your session

If you feel unwell or have been told to self-isolate, please do not attend your shift but you must let the clinic / practice / test centre know beforehand so they can reallocate your slot to another volunteer.

You may he asked to perform a role outside. Please take suitable clothing and footwear for the weather conditions.

If we are notified by the clinic that the session is cancelled then you will receive an email to notify you. If possible we will also attempt to contact you by phone. Please check your email before you leave home.
